We’ve done it. The D’Sev Holy Imperium has accepted defeat after 18 years of war.
We can’t justify full annexation of their realm, but we can always come back in a few decades. The major terms of the peace treaty are:
1. The establishment of an independent ‘Alien Sector’ on the planet Malvi’D, with former slaves from across the D’Sev Worlds allowed to emigrate to this sector using D’Sev transportation. The state/states made from this sector are to be accepted into the Peldak Protectorate as members.
2. The Imperium is to provide backpay to the former slaves of Malvi’D Free Sector, either in the form of raw resources or trade credit.
3. The Dismantling of the Imperium’s Proxy Network across known space. Notably, the decoupling of: The Feather Trade Guild of Ciratha, The Eastern Frontiermen Authority of Ciratha, The Shipping Exomerce Conglomerate of Ciratha, The Red Mountain Ash Empire of Monsoo, The Corrugated Strip Empire of Monsoo, The Dissenter Council of Sayar, The United Chaccarn States of Foregone, The Brothers Druid Alliance of Relgan, The Firryan Liberation Front of Relgan, The Kingdom of Estina on Relgan, The Zreed Clan on Hemlock, and their facility on Genevek.
4. A 30-year peace treaty preventing the Protectorate from declaring war on the D’Sev Holy Imperium or its constituent territories/states/nobles/whatever wording accurately describes the Imperium’s system of government.
5. The D’Sev system of government is kept intact, and the core territory of the non-Malvi’D worlds – D’Sev, D’Shevaa, Osu’D’nee, Ar’D’araf – will be respected without the instillation of Protectorate colonies or military bases.
6. The D’Sev Commander that invaded Peldor, F’Amaar W’Karri Tor Cour’Dire-Malvi’D, must be the one to formally accept the Imperium’s surrender in a speech before the Peldak Senate. No harm may befall him or his troops before they leave our homeworld.
