In the singular Grand Ocean on the world of Ciratha, a small ship of merchants, and their alien bodyguard whose prone to seasickness, must contend with a pirate attack.

But cirathans have a different culture and disposition than most. Cirathan ships, merchant or pirate, are not built with any form of cannon or weaponry. Robbery is based around deception and negotiations, talking the other ship into handing over their cargo, or leaving without a fuss.

Who has the upper hand, who can think best on their feet, who’s the better speaker? This is a life where stuttering at the wrong time can mean bankruptcy.
