As is so often the case for this Mantle Era, when our troops are committed to one location everyone else feels the need to act up. The war against the United Tomchaka Covens is proving to be a manageable slog that we will win in time despite their beasts and traps and magics. What complicates our inevitable victory is the rest of Relgan has exploded, and forces from other worlds have joined.

We’ve received reports of at least three Black Fleets operating on the waters of Relgan’s southern hemisphere, based on the Hapish region of the southern continent, the Manauas state of Southern Apea, and somewhere south of the Lwazi Peninsula.

The Firryan Liberation Front we helped in Northern Apea a decade ago and the Chaccarn Confederation on Foregone are working together to fund firryan rebel groups in Great Tendor, kicking off a civil war as some princes sided with the firryans.

The nomads of the Ashari tundra have miraculously reconstituted after their near extermination just a few years ago. They lack the Mammoth Spiders thanks to our successful cleansing, but have adopted muskets alongside their classic six-legged horses. They’re encroaching on the settled coasts, and our non-member allies are calling for aid, which we’re honor bound to provide due to anti-nomad treaties.

Then there’s the standard threats that always show up. The Dawn Mercenaries are operating in Apea, the Hurriyya Clans are volunteering, and my contacts say the D’Sev are up to something.

Field Marshall Kiskonski has announced that they will be diverting forces to handle these emerging threats, however the primary focus will remain the UTC. The purpose of this war is to destroy their potential to threaten our interests for at least a generation. But given the changing circumstances, Sir Kiskonski is preparing to invade Tomchaka itself.
