The UTC Declares War Against The Peldak Protectorate

Our campaign to cyclically kidnap members of the Sararit Coven’s leadership was going well, with the coven terrified because no guards or bunkers were capable of protecting their leaders, and hundreds of druids would wind up dead every time. Tomchaka’s Great Coven officially protested the Protectorate’s actions but proved unwilling to do what was needed to stop us.

Five months ago, radical druids of the anti-war Sheballa and Kebele Great Covens volunteered to guard Sararit’s newest Traditional Head in his beach house estate.

27 of these radical druids were killed in our raid to capture the him. It was a brilliant plot by the Sararit because various Tomchaka rules of honor dictate that Sheballa and Kebele must respond to us shedding their brother’s blood.

Sheballa, Kebele and over 200 other covens joined a great delegation to the Lwazi Peninsula where they demanded compensation for the deaths inflicted upon members of two covens, and a promise to be more careful in the future. This was purely a face-saving measure; they were trying to avoid a war by imposing completely reasonable terms.

Relgan’s Field Marshall, Kornel ‘Druid Hammer’ Kiskonski, swiftly arrived at the Lwazi Peninsula to meet the delegation. He laughed in their faces, rejected their demands, and had his guards assault the envoys and confiscate a special type of neck wrapping that has historical and civic significance to Tomchaka diplomats.

It was a deliberately provocative action, of course. There would either be war, or the UTC would be humiliated, and the Peldak Protectorate free to operate across their territory.

After three months of deliberations and preparations, the UTC declared war. Their opening assault was a horde of at least 500,000 titan spiders and their riders pouring over the border of the Lwazi Peninsula.

400,000 peldak troops have already engaged.
