While the D’Sev Holy Imperium is a member state of the Peldak Protectorate, it’s a relationship that exists only through treaty. They don’t like us and we don’t like them.

However, the Sararit Coven’s evil had become so gross and vile that, two months ago, our forces set aside their grievances for a daring raid into the heart of the United Tomchaka Covens.

A D’Sev, who requested to remain anonymous, had a prophecy dream about the location of newborn D’Sev Triplets – extremely sacred in D’Sev cosmology – being subjected to the worst forms of torture and mutilation in a druid den of the Sararit Coven. Trusting his dream, D’Sev envoys conducted the proper negotiations for a joint operation into the UTC. They were directed to the Ashguard in the Lwazi Peninsula, who were already tasked with anti-trafficking operations.

A dozen D’Sev and Peldaks snuck into Tomchaka and found the Sararit’s den. They rescued 300 children of human, elf, and D’Sev origins, and killed over a hundred guards and druids. On the return trip they killed another 50 or so citizens of Tomchaka before ultimately returning safely.

The Imperium and Lord Protector’s representatives have released preprepared statements about the operation’s success. The natural information delay from space travel means the representatives had to prepare a variety of responses that correspond to the success or failure of the operation.

If Tomchaka’s reaction to rescuing our children is anything other than a full condemnation of the Sararit Coven for kidnapping them, we will consider this a soft declaration of war, which will be responded to in a moment of our choosing. If the UTC does not apply pressure on their covens to cease their trafficking or experimentations, more operations into the heart of Tomchaka will follow, and they won’t be made official.
