Legends on the planet Foregone speak of a divine being, perfect in look and demeanor. He was said to be a lonely, wandering god would bring hot springs, ponds, and freshwater rivers into existence with nothing but his own will.
The firryans say this being would only appear in front of lone maidens, or small groups. The witnesses reported a stunningly beautiful man radiating moonlight; tall, muscular, with sad eyes. He taught the firryans to make lavender-scented soap and was always willing to heal the sick or rescue the enslaved. Sharing a hot spring with him was said to bring eternal beauty, rubbing his back meant success in romance, and sleeping with him was said to grant blessings of fertility.
Peldan Star News is pleased to announce that this pervert has been arrested and will be brought to trial for impersonating divinity, and sexual misconduct. Credit goes to the agents of the Avir-Harada.
Alarain Earmark is a peldak currently 1,800 years old. An investigation revealed that his childhood sweetheart died during the War Of Ending 1,500 years ago, his second wife died during the Vampire War 900 years ago, and his state-appointed wife perished during the War of Iron Rain 795 years ago. Alarain was listed as a casualty during the Founding War’s Foregone Campaign a decade later, but apparently he simply lost his mind when faced with firryan beauty and fled into the wilderness.
Alarain lived off the land, built spas everywhere he went, never interacted with the firryans long enough to learn their language, but did use his aether magic to save lives. He slept with a frankly absurd number of native women.
If Alarain averaged five lovers every year – a low-ball estimate – that equates to 4,000 victims since he went savage.
His trial begins later this year.
