With the legion’s successful push across Tsuchi’s habitable strip and the Hayato Empire claiming their rightful territory, the issei are free to move assets and pilots around, and put all their industrial capabilities towards reinforcing other theatres of the Great Interstellar War.
The Hayato’s new strategy is to concentrate these reinforcements on a single theatre to wear down the enemy through overwhelming areal superiority. Then, once the legions and local forces claim victory on the ground, they’ll move the newly relieved assets to the next theatre in a domino effect until the war is won.
The first target of the Domino Strategy is the Golden League on Ciratha. A founding member of the Axis, one of the wealthiest, and long considered a weak link in their alliance. It would, at this point, be unfair to call those western warriors cowardly weaklings, but the fact of the matter is that the cirathans are a logical, mercantile people who pride themselves on their negotiating skills. Hayato bombers will target city after city, destroying their economic capabilities, and soon they’ll realize the simple fact that resistance to our rule isn’t worth the cost, and they’ll surrender.
With the Golden League’s mainland defeated, their interstellar colonies will follow without a fight, and the Hayato aces can transfer to other, minor Axis powers. A deal has been made with the Hayato Empire that if they focus on the Golden League and help knock them out of the war, the Protectorate will take the spare legions to Relgan next, prioritizing Ashataria and Osutaria for Hayato’s conquest and annexation.
This pattern of Axis power for Issei Colony will likely persist until the Arasuka Grand Colony, which is directly backed by the strongest Axis power and therefore will likely be the most difficult to conquer.
